Being an auntie to two beautiful girls is honestly one of my favourite things in the world. 🥹💗One thing I really want them to learn as they grow up is that as women, we should build each other up, not bring each other down. Be kind. Cheer each other on. Celebrate each other’s wins. And never make another girl feel like she isn’t good enough. ❤️Today was such a proud Auntie moment…Darcie is 9 and after seeing how much her big sister enjoyed football, made friends and loved being part of a team, she decided she wanted to give it a go too. ⚽️💕And today was her FIRST EVER MATCH! 😭Not only did she get Man of the Match, she scored a HAT-TRICK! ⚽️⚽️⚽️🏆I honestly couldn't be prouder of her. Watching her walk off that pitch with the biggest smile on her face was just the best. 🥹❤️But do you know what I loved just as much?Seeing all the parents come together, cheering on their children, and watching the girls encourage and support each other as a team.Because this is what I hope they learn from sport, friendships and life…You don’t have to bring another girl down to lift yourself up. ✨There is room for all of us to shine.Be the girl who claps the loudest for another girl. 👏🏼💗And Darcie… your Auntie is VERY proud of you today! 🥹⚽️🏆First match.
