IF I HADN’T OF…

Felt lonely…Make New Friends would never have begun.Experienced grief and trauma…I wouldn’t be as strong as I am now.Become strong and resilient…I wouldn’t have realised that some people I thought were friends were never really my friends.Had that breakup…Lyn and I may never have shared the special bond and friendship we have today. ❤️Cried all those tears, desperately wanting something to change in my life…I may never have started playing poker. And if I hadn’t of started playing poker…I wouldn’t have met some amazing people who have become great friends. And if I hadn’t of played poker that day…I wouldn’t have met my boyfriend. ❤️Funny how life works, isn’t it?At the time, I thought some of these moments were breaking me.The loneliness. The heartbreak. The grief. The tears. The people I lost. The moments I questioned myself and wondered what the hell I was doing with my life. But now I look back and realise…They were shaping me.Every difficult chapter taught me something.Every disappointment made me stronger.Every ending created space for something new.And every tear helped create the woman I am today. If I hadn’t become the person I am today…Make New Friends wouldn’t be the platform it is today. And then there’s the one thing I wish with everything in me I could change…Losing my mum. ❤️If I could have one thing back in my life, it would be her.I would give anything for one more conversation. One more hug.One more laugh. One more day. That is the one part of my story I will never say I’m grateful for.But losing her changed me.It made me realise just how short life really is.It taught me not to keep putting things off.To make memories. To tell people I love them.To stop worrying so much about what other people think. And most importantly…To make every day count. So no…I wouldn’t change the woman I’ve become.I wouldn’t erase the lessons.I wouldn’t erase the friendships.I wouldn’t erase the memories.I wouldn’t erase the life I’ve built. But if I could have my mum back, I would. In a heartbeat. ❤️And maybe that’s why I’m so passionate about Make New Friends.Because life really is too short.Too short to feel alone.Too short to hold back.Too short to stay where you’re unhappy.Too short to wait for “one day”.Make the memories.Say yes.Meet the people.Take the photos.Have the laughs.Make the friendship.LIVE. ❤️Because one day, the moments you’re making today will become the memories you wish you could go back to.And I think my mum would want me to keep doing exactly that.Making every day count. ❤️Lots of love Michelle xxx ... IF I HADN’T OF…

Felt lonely…

Make New Friends would never have begun.

Experienced grief and trauma…

I wouldn’t be as strong as I am now.

Become strong and resilient…

I wouldn’t have realised that some people I thought were friends were never really my friends.

Had that breakup…
Lyn and I may never have shared the special bond and friendship we have today. ❤️

Cried all those tears, desperately wanting something to change in my life…

I may never have started playing poker.

And if I hadn’t of started playing poker…

I wouldn’t have met some amazing people who have become great friends.

And if I hadn’t of played poker that day…

I wouldn’t have met my boyfriend. ❤️

Funny how life works, isn’t it?

At the time, I thought some of these moments were breaking me.

The loneliness.
The heartbreak.
The grief.
The tears.
The people I lost.
The moments I questioned myself and wondered what the hell I was doing with my life.

But now I look back and realise…

They were shaping me.
Every difficult chapter taught me something.
Every disappointment made me stronger.
Every ending created space for something new.
And every tear helped create the woman I am today.

If I hadn’t become the person I am today…

Make New Friends wouldn’t be the platform it is today.

And then there’s the one thing I wish with everything in me I could change…

Losing my mum. ❤️

If I could have one thing back in my life, it would be her.

I would give anything for one more conversation.
One more hug.
One more laugh.
One more day.
That is the one part of my story I will never say I’m grateful for.

But losing her changed me.

It made me realise just how short life really is.
It taught me not to keep putting things off.
To make memories.
To tell people I love them.
To stop worrying so much about what other people think.

And most importantly…

To make every day count.

So no…
I wouldn’t change the woman I’ve become.
I wouldn’t erase the lessons.
I wouldn’t erase the friendships.
I wouldn’t erase the memories.
I wouldn’t erase the life I’ve built.

But if I could have my mum back, I would. In a heartbeat. ❤️

And maybe that’s why I’m so passionate about Make New Friends.

Because life really is too short.
Too short to feel alone.
Too short to hold back.
Too short to stay where you’re unhappy.
Too short to wait for “one day”.
Make the memories.
Say yes.
Meet the people.
Take the photos.
Have the laughs.
Make the friendship.
LIVE. ❤️

Because one day, the moments you’re making today will become the memories you wish you could go back to.

And I think my mum would want me to keep doing exactly that.

Making every day count. ❤️

Lots of love
